TriStaff is partnering with an exciting company that is building their team who will be developing their next generation of consumer electronics software. They are looking for several key Senior Software Engineers who know their way around real time embedded software programming using “C”. In these key senior software roles, you will be involved in the changing landscape of “smart” mobile devices that the world is experiencing.
• The chosen candidates will utilize their knowledge of Linux, Windows, Windows CE, WinCE, or Symbian OS’s. You will be involved in the design and development with “C” for real time software that can be flexible to work in different embedded environments such as Linux, Windows, or Symbian.
• You will get to work with challenges like unique device drivers, APIs, multi-tasking functions, user interfaces, multimedia codecs, algorithms, etc.
• For those who enjoy getting deep into the kernel of operating systems, some of the positions will offer you the challenge of finding solutions to timing and interface issues.
• You will develop real time operating (OS) components and subsystems for whatever OS the customer needs.
• You will not be isolated in a corner but expected to work across engineering groups to ensure consistent delivery of quality software.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have senior level experience with any of these embedded processors: Linux, Windows, WinCE, or Symbian.
• Must know your way around operating systems to deal with timing and interface issues, such as writing drivers, analyzing appropriate algorithms, or designing multithreaded software.
• Must have real time “C” software experience.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with a team.
• Must have worked on a product from inception to completion and understand the whole software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Must have degree in Computer Science or equivalent training.
