Vice President, Consumer Electronic/ Chipsets Solutions
Job description
The VP of Consumer Electronics/ Chipsets Solutions Consulting is accountable for all consulting and region net revenue growth that is aligned to Sales. The VP of Solutions Consulting will own and is equally accountable for Professional Services/Consulting revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This position requires understanding market requirements for engineering/ chipset outsourcing solutions, identifying specific opportunities for growth within the space and proposing/ closing new business opportunities.
Essential duties:
· Identify and capture revenue opportunities for Solution Services
· Lead the Consumer Electronics Solutions Sales team
· Delivery of Program Management services for major clients
· Manage the Professional Services P&L for the Region
· Communicate effectively with peers, superiors and subordinates
· Continuously evaluate and develop the performance of individual contributors through team and 1-on-1 sharing of best practices, scheduled and ad-hoc training sessions, and available corporate performance management resources.
Objectives:
· Identifies, understands and solves complex internal and external issues for customers and employees.
· Increase revenue in the applicable region in order to meet or exceed the prescribed quota on a quarterly basis
· Participate in the opportunity funneling and inspection process within the region, producing an opportunity funnel that meets or exceeds the established standards of a Solutions Services organization
· Maintain direct involvement with customer accounts in the largest qualified prospects in North America.
Qualifications:
· Demonstrated progressive experience of 10-15 years selling and delivering technology services and consulting solutions with at least 5 recent years within the consumer electronics/ chipset market
· Demonstrated ownership and annual delivery sales in excess of $ 50 million with net new logos and account expansion
· Strong existing industry relationships
· Bachelors Degree/ MBA or equivalent experience
