Position Description

Position Summary
The Senior Product Manager is a product leader and advocate, and serves as the principle subject matter expert for SEVEN products and technology in establishing and expanding the SEVEN mobile messaging products. As a Senior Product Manager you will interface with engineering, sales, marketing, business development, SEVEN’s executive staff as well as customers and partners to drive new and competitive products to market. You will work with partners and design teams to deliver the best in class user experience for the end user. Your success in forming winning solutions while providing best leverage of engineering resources, cost and time to market will have a direct effect on SEVEN’s growth and bottom line.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
•Drive the definition of the next-generation of SEVEN mobile products by identifying unmet customer needs or new target products/markets to conquer
•Drive product roadmap and priorities through entire product cycle, including development, QA and general release process in collaboration with engineering, sales, customers and partners. Collect product requirements, create PRDs, and prioritize features based on customer input, sales pipeline and competitive market conditions.
•Act as the point of reference for current and future product features across the various platforms and environments supported by SEVEN; maintain an in-depth knowledge of product features and the development roadmap
•Drive exceptional user experience from concept to screen and actual user adoption
•Contribute to go-to-market activities, including the creation of sales tools, collateral, sales training and the evangelization SEVEN products to the market
•Travel required 20-30% of the time

Skills & Experience Required:
•5-10 years experience in software product management, experience with SaaS preferred
•Proven success in taking product innovations from concept to feature definition and market launch
•Experience in managing embedded or downloadable mobile applications with strong emphasis on user experience
•Ability to think strategically and to develop comprehensive detailed specifications
•Highly effective leader of cross-functional groups, able to communicate and collaborate with all areas of the company
•Self-organized individual able to set clear priorities and drive results against customer-driven timelines
•Ability to set direction and manage expectations in highly dynamic environment working with very large mobile operators, Internet service providers and mobile device manufacturers
•Excellent oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills
•“Can do” attitude, team player, fun, energetic personality, works well under pressure

Education Requirements:
•Strong technical background, ideally a computer science or engineering degree complemented, an MBA is preferred.
