The 5 Top Selling Smartphones
This is the Year of the Smartphone.
Headlined by the global phenomenon that is the iPhone 3G, the growth in smartphones-in terms of the number of units and the proliferation of brands and styles--has been one the key trends in the wireless world this year.
ComScore M:Metrics has released its July figures for smartphone growth, and while some of the numbers are unsurprising--AT&T Mobility is the top carrier in terms of smartphone growth, largely bolstered by sales of the iPhone 3G--the snapshot provides a look into a fast-growing market. where can I find the whole report? I don't think those numbers are reliable.
How about comparing smartphone sales to feature phone sales?
These figures came directly from comScore M:Metrics, and they can be contacted for further information.
Both Blackjack variants and the iPhone outselling the Curve? Doesn't seem likely.
Um...do you think it "appears" that way because that's what it says it is, or is it because all the phone models are US models, or is it because all the carriers are US carriers.
Please, share your process of deductive reasoning.
I wanted to clear up some of the confusion in the comments:
1) this is US data for the three-month average ending in July.
2) The data here does not represent units sold, but how many people own a given device.
3) The BlackBerry Curve 8310 is the 9th most popular smartphone owned and the 8300 comes in at number 11. Among new device acquisitions, the Curve 8330 is performing strongly, trailing only the BackJack II and is beating the iPhone.

Hopefully Sprint's numbers for smartphones sold should increase in Baltimore due to WiMax launch.
The combination should offer compelling value proposition.
Anybody please - what should the equivalent performance level be between a normal ATT/iphone 3g version and a Sprint4G/Wimax smartphone in Baltimore?
